Our Vision
We envision a world where children feel safe, move with confidence, and connect with nature and their own inner rhythms.
Through playful movement and sensory-rich natural spaces, they learn to trust their bodies, nurture self-awareness, grow confidence, curiosity, and care for themselves, others, and the world around them.
What Grounds Us?

Rewilding Movement
Modern life often limits how kids move. Flat floors, screens, and structured routines can restrict the natural ways their bodies want to explore. Rewilding movement brings that freedom back.
We invite kids to crawl, climb, balance, jump, and roll. These are instinctive, playful patterns that build strength, balance, coordination, and confidence. They also support sensory integration and emotional regulation. We include fun cross-lateral patterns that helps strengthen communication between the brain’s hemispheres. These patterns support focus, concentration, and whole-body learning in a way that feels both playful and powerful.

Reconnecting to Nature
Nature offers what indoor spaces cannot. Shifting textures, uneven ground, open skies, and endless sensory input create a rich environment for movement.
When kids move outdoors, they slow down, tune in, and come alive.
As children build a relationship with nature, they begin to care for it. They learn they are not separate from the natural world. They are part of it. This connection fosters not just regulation, but a quiet sense of belonging and responsibility.

Regulating from the Ground Up
When a child’s body feels steady, safe and stable, the mind can settle. Their nervous system can shift from survival into learning, social engagement, and emotional growth.
Through movement, play, and connection, we help children develop the foundations for regulation. We introduce mindfulness practices like breathwork, grounding, and noticing what is happening inside and around them. These tools help kids access calm and recover more easily. Over time, children begin to trust their bodies as a safe place to return to. Every session is designed to nurture both the body and the nervous system, helping children move, feel, and grow with balance from the inside out.
Our Values
At Grounded Motion, we celebrate the full spectrum of human experience and welcome everyone, just as they are. We proudly stand as allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. We strive to create spaces where every child, parent, and team member feels safe, respected, and able to show up as their full, authentic selves. Trust and openness and safety are at the heart of how we move, play, and grow together.

We respectfully acknowledge the Bundjalung people, the Traditional Owners of the land on which we move, play, and connect. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise their deep, ongoing relationship with land, sea and sky. Their wisdom and care for Country guide our commitment to respecting and connecting with the natural world.
