Movement that nurtures confidence, safety, and connection.

Playful, purposeful movement that supports children’s development and regulation.

Meet Amelia

At Grounded Motion Therapy, we support children to move, play and connect in ways that strengthen their bodies, minds and nervous systems.

Through evidence‑based Exercise Physiology, sensory rich experiences and body‑based regulation tools, we help children build confidence, strength and connection across nature settings, early learning environments, group programs and 1:1 sessions. Our approach draws on neurodevelopmental principles to support the foundations of learning, improving focus, concentration, behaviour, emotional regulation and overall wellbeing.

THe grounded motion difference

At Grounded Motion, we are passionate about helping children feel grounded, capable, resilient, and connected through meaningful movement experiences.

We believe every child deserves access to movement, regulation, and sensory‑rich opportunities that support their whole development, both now and for the future.

Nervous System First Regulation

We begin with safety and regulation, creating supportive spaces where children feel confident to move, explore, try, and learn. Through movement, breath, and body‑based tools, every activity is intentionally designed to support nervous system regulation and build lifelong self‑regulation skills.

Empowerment and Confidence

We support children to trust their bodies, make their own choices, and feel capable in their movement. When confidence comes first, skills naturally follow, nurturing joy rather than pressure.

Safe, Fun & Positive Environments

Our sessions are playful, engaging, and full of meaningful developmental benefits. Our exercise professionals read cues, offer the right encouragement, and create environments where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn through movement and connection.

Nature‑Based, Sensory‑Rich Experiences

We use nature as a powerful co‑regulator. Outdoor movement provides rich sensory input, supports nervous system balance, and helps children build a deep, lifelong connection to the natural world.
